Ocean Waves Poem

This was the third poem I liked that I have written. I think it is very self explanatory and describes the day to day struggles a bipolar person has to go through as the margin between pleasure and pain are constantly changing. Ocean waves is a poem about the ups and downs of life.

Taste, touch, smell, sight, sound

sensory impulses lift me off the ground

drowning gravity keeps me bound

dormant in a cocoon, chemicals released soon

these thoughts pass and I understand

these faults belong to one man

life not enough, have I had too much

places I've been, people I've seen

memories I've had, blurred the dream

I come back

down I go

clear the bottom
